SDC supports Warwick University with low carbon vehicle project

SDC has been working closely with the Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG) during the first three months of the year to achieve the next key milestone on their high profile low carbon vehicle project. WMG is the lead partner in a £19M Low Carbon Vehicle Technology Project. The project is funded by Advantage West Midlands (AWM) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and will be delivered through a consortium of 5 companies and 2 Universities. 

The project includes 15 automotive technology development work-streams that will deliver technical and socio-economic outputs that will benefit the West Midlands Region.

WMG is leading a work-stream within this project to research and develop novel material technologies for light weight structures for use in hybrid and electric vehicles
